Multi-Dimensional Love

Waved Forgetfulness
I think I like nothing about this one. Maybe the wavy-cut of her sleeves, but that's it.

Partially Pinned
He had an interesting wave to his hair that reminded me of old-fashioned pin curls and then I gave up. Also the shirt shading was a mistake. Oh well.

Unfurnished Frustration
I really think this could have been a favorite had I actually finished it. I guess I could work on it now...but I probably won't. This one reminds me of the awkwardly unfurnished area in my apartment that I just can't stand to look at anymore.

Shiny Feathers
I love that her hair came out looking like feathers. Shiny feathers. Go ahead and just ignore the two figures on the left.

Comfort in Boldness
Oh he looked so comfortable in that sweatshirt! I'm in a trend of really showing a distinction between bold and soft lines and this is no exception. I think I could have improved the outcome of his hair.

Silky Smooth
No, but seriously, his North Face looks so smooth! Almost shiny, really. I love how it came out, despite the inaccurate texture.

Hide the Hair
Forget the hair because the folded collar and detailed sweater are my favorite! Actually the collar is my favorite--if I had more time I would have added depth to her sweater to match the collar. If only.

The Probability of Pen
Chances are I didn't have a pencil in my bag because me and pen are not friends. This isn't horrible, but for the most part, it's the pits.

Especially the Spine
I guess I had a thing for the spinal cord this day. Also I was trying some new random pattern with his hair and did not like the results. I like the tilt of his shoulders though.

The Dreaded Spotlight
She had such a tower of dreads--I don't think I accurately depicted the height but I like the multi-dimensional shadows that land on her back.

Squashed Spiders
Her dreads turned out to look a bit spider-like and looking back, I seriously squashed the shape of his head. Good thing is I like their collars.

Padded Proportions
I still haven't figured out how to master the arms-on-the-table-no-arms look. Her hair looks awfully shiny though.

Curly Q has a Tattoo
I love how the curls turned out--especially the mixture of light and dark lines. The straight hair to the left is kind of weird.

Sipping on Science
Another drawing from the research workshop. I think I need to spend more time drawing hands...

Sitting with Science
I drew this when I skipped my first week of grad school for a research workshop. Needless to say, the drawing was quick because I had to write down a whole bunch of notes that made no sense to me. Good times.
